Inside the ATI booth area, took place the 6th set of baktin catching that was solely participated in this time by farm youth contenders. The day went on with a 3 on 3 Basketball Competition for male government employees at the Capitol grounds. In the 2nd floor of Zamboanga del Norte Convention and Exhibition Center (ZNCEC) began the 1st Hudyaka ZANORTE 2-day Chess Tournament that was set for employees and bystanders who loved mind games.

To add hue to the colorful and eventful day was the Drag Race at the Sta. Cruz Boulevard with hundreds of spectators of different ages crowding the pathways for this once in a blue moon event, which was made possible by the provincial government of Zamboanga del Norte. Gov. Rolando E. Yebes personally witnessed the race. In Piñan, shooters had also enjoyed immensely the 1st Governor’s Cup Shooting Competition at the 101st Infantry Brigade Pistol and Rifle Shooting Range in Del Pilar, which started yesterday and will end on June 5. Actor Eddie Garcia is expected to arrive today to join them and participate in the shoot fest.

The last of the sports activities last night, was the Dart Tournament at the pool side of ZNCEC. These sports events mirror the active and vibrant administration of Gov. Yebes that had truly received massive support not only from employees of the provincial government but also with the general public who had been so hyped up and supportive with all of the activities set for the week-long celebration of  ZN 53rd anniversary.
