MESSAGE
Congratulations to the officials and the
people of Zamboanga del Norte on the occasion of your 55th Founding
Anniversary.
The Province of Zamboanga del Norte is one of
the major recipients of our

projects in Mindanao. I am pleased to know that yours is now a thriving
province not only because of the assistance from the national government
but also because of your dedication and zeal.
We acknowledge that there is still room for
improvement, thus it is only appropriate that you have chosen this year's
theme -- "Abante Pa Zanorte: Onwards to more meaningful Service and
Development."
I also wish that your Huyaka Zanorte Festival,

Message of the governor to the awardees
For three (3) successive years under my
administration, on the occassion of the celebration of our Founding
Anniversary, we have conferred awards to our provincemates who have made
significant contributions to improve the lives of others.
As we celebrate our 55th Founding Anniversary,
in the best tradition of Hudyaka, we
deem it fitting and
proper, albeit posthumously, to confer our Award of Recognition on the
great Subanon leader, namely, Datu Tangkilan Andus, through his worthy
heirs. In a real sense, our administration is committed to ink ourselves
to our forebears.
As before, we recognize the good deeds of our
co-workers in the provincial government who, after having served with
efficiency and integrity, ahve retired from the service. In the same vein,
we commend our co-workers who have served the provincial government for
over 25 years, with loyalty and dedication.
May their tribe increase. Daghang Salamat.
Magsukol kaniyo katan. Piya Guntong Tebaan Niyo.
